In random order, because I can't choose between my favorites.
5. Kensington Museum
First, many of the great museums in London is FREE. It is an excpensive city, but at least you can spend your day in a museum for free, and save your money for the overpriced and not overfancy hotel. Kengsington Museums are a trio of museums who covers all the bases of human knowledge. There is a Sciense Museum, an Natural History Museum and the Victoria & Albert museum (I haven't been there). The Natural History Museum is my favorite, and you can really learn and have fun at the same time.

4. Wok in a box
Mouthwatering chinesefood. Cheep and lovely. And just like in the movies, in a box. You can mix and match like you wish.

2. British museum
This wonderful, wonderful museum. It kinda feels like the whole world is in there. And it has the most amazing round entrance hall. And it is free.

1. Wicked
London is famous for its theaters and shows. We Will Rock You, Le Mis, Phantom of the Opera and so on and so on. But my favorite (of the few I have seen) is Wicked. My boyfriend, who dosen't like theater that much loved it.
One of the best reasons to travel is to eat. To taste fantastic food from all over the world. Veal, rabbit, fish, pork, pasta, pesto, scampi, cheese, wine, bread, chocolate, beef, desserts, fruit, chicken, ice cream and so on, and so one.

Even if I think having an ensuit bathroom should be required in any hotelroom, that is not the case. In London there is not a sure thing that you would have your own private bathroom. So the times I have travelled there that has been one of my main demands in picking a hotel. The first time I was in London I felt ripped of, because I couln't immediately see a bathroom. Except our door to the hall way, and our window (yes, window) to clime out to our balcony, the only doors was this closet doors.

And guess what?
There was our bathroom!
If you take a three and a half hour flight from Trondheim, you might end up in Dubrovnik, Croatia. At least thats what we did in August 2010. We flew with Norwegian as we usualy do. From Norway they usualy have the best rate, if you don't mind low cost tickets. We were four adults traveling together, and we wanted an appartment where everybody could hang out, instead of a hotelroom. Somebody recommended Kroatiaperler, and now so can we. They had a wide variaty of appartments all over Croatia. We chose a three bedroom appartment in a little town just south of Dubrovnik, called Cavtat.

And this is the view from our balcony. All the way to the right you might see some of Dubrovnik, and to the left you see some of Cavtats centrum. It wasn't much, but several nice restaurants and shops. We fell in love with a little bakery among other things.
Just a short boat ride away (maybe 60 min) was Dubrovnik old town. You could go there by boat or bus. We took the boat to the old town one day, and then a bus in to Dubrovnik centrum to shop another day. Both was very easy and quite cheep.

We was in Croatia in august, and it was superwarm. I don't remember exactly, but between 30 and 40 degrees celcius. So we spent a lot of the time in the water. There were both beaches and cliffs where you could swim from. We snorkled a lot, and it was a lot of fun! My brother rented a water scooter, and a surfboard. And we all rented a big pedal boat with a slide. So there is a lot you can do.
One day we went with a fishing trip with a man who steered the boat with his foot.
And then we fished with the fisherman for several hours. We had the boat and the man for ourself, and could chose if we wanted to wish or lie on deck and bask in the sun. He also drove us to a small island where we could get a drink, and take a swim.
And we caught some beautiful smal fishes, which we let go.
Cavtat (or maybe Croatia in general) is full of stairs and narrow streets. But I love it.
And when you have walked up all the stairs maybe you come to a "secret" little place where you can sit in the shade and watch people on the promenad below.
I loved Cavtat.
It was quiet and lovely.
And I think I drank my best Pina Colada ever there. ;)
Right now I'm sick, and I feel really bad for myself. I have been lying in bed (or the couch) for the past four days. But it also gives me time to dream about our next holidays. We probably won't travel anywhere before this summer, when I have finished my exams, but a girl can dream.
I june we hope to get a couple of weeks on a secret pearl outside the coast of Thailand. But since it is rainseason there from may/june we have to think about it. We have read that it mainly rains in the afternoon or night, and that it often is a couple of sunny days between the rainy ones. On the plus side there will be less tourists and better rates at hotels ect.

Late summer we hope to take a trip to Latvia. We have been there in july/august two years in a row and really loved it. In Jurmala (just outside Riga) there is a beautiful sand beach, and great hotels and restaurants. So you kinda get the feeling of Spain og Greece, just cheeper and much shorter to travel. We also plan to take a trip to a dentist in Latvia. Steinar tried a Latvian dentist in 2009, and he was so satisfied. Not only was it cheep, but he felt they were more professional than in Norway.
This autum, or next winter I dream of taking a trip to New York with my father. He is a huge hockey fan, so to see NY Rangers in Maddison Square would be awsome.
The last trip we have planned for 2011 is to France. In November Steinar and I have been together five years, and for several years now we have planned to celebrate that with a trip to Paris. And I hope to book tickets soon, becaus Norweagian is SUPERcheep! As a preparation for our trip I have ordered hjartesmils paris-magazine.
But now I have to get some sleep, so maybe my headache will go far far away.
Best wishes, Stine

This is my new travelblog. My name is Stine, and I love travel and capture the world with my lens. The captured: post are photo collections from different places, where I hope to catch some of the essence of the trip. And hopefully I will find time to write more about the world through my eyes. I hope you can find inspiration, and good traveltips here. And of course you are welcome to send me your best tips!

I also plan to use this blog to improve my english. So please be patient. And if you feel like it you can act like you are my englishteacher. By the way, I have a first question to you. Is Miscellaneous the same as "diverse" in norwegian?
Best wishes from Stine
